Kaspa Overview

Kaspa is a proof-of-work cryptocurrency using the GHOSTDAG protocol, allowing parallel blocks to coexist and be ordered in consensus, forming a blockDAG. This ensures security and high block rates (1 block/sec, aiming for 10/sec, dreaming of 100/sec) with minimal confirmation times.

Kaspa is a fully open-source community project with no central governance or business model, similar to Bitcoin, Litecoin, Monero. The mainnet launched without premining or preallocation of coins.

Recently top BTC mining operations have added KASPA mining as an alternative revenue stream as the ROI is 10x higher than Bitcoin.
