Game Modes: Green Satoshi Token offers three engaging game modes for players to choose from.
- Solo Mode: Players have the freedom to collect tokens by jogging or walking. Income is determined based on two factors: physical activity and the rarity of NFT Sneakers.
- Marathon Mode: Periodic marathon competitions are held weekly or monthly. Players can register 24 hours before the competition for a chance to win valuable prizes.
- Background Mode: A fun mode allowing participation even with the app turned off. Background Mode records daily steps through smartphone data without reducing the durability of NFT Sneakers.

Founded in August 2021 by the Australian fintech studio Find Satoshi Lab, STEPN saw the formation of its core team in September of the same year. Notably, in October, the project achieved success by emerging as the winner of the Solana Ignition Hackathon Gaming Track 2021.
