## API3 Team Background and Partners

API3 is brought to life by a trio of individuals, with Heikki Vanttinen spearheading the project. With a background as the founder and CEO of CLC Group, Vanttinen has extensive experience in developing real-world connected smart contract solutions and has previously served as the Chief Marketing Officer at Zippie, a mobile operating system aiming for mainstream blockchain adoption.

Joining Vanttinen is Burak Benligiray, the former CTO at CLC Group. Benligiray has emphasized the merits of ChainAPI, the integration platform for API3, which is considered the "spiritual successor" to Honeycomb, a previous innovation pursued by CLC Group.

Completing the trio is Saša Milić, who not only serves as a sessional lecturer at the University of Toronto but also brings valuable experience as a software engineer for Facebook and a simulation data scientist for Gauntlet. ## API3 Project Development

All dAPIs within this framework source data directly from reputable API providers operating first-party oracle nodes.
