What is Shiryo?
Shiryo is an innovative trading card game that incorporates blockchain technology, allowing players to collect decks and engage in matches while earning rewards. Through the dedicated Shiryo Dapp accessible via the token's website, players can participate in matches, tournaments, and even acquire land.
Additional exciting enhancements may include 3D Metaverse integration, upgrades to social spaces, and the option for land expansion. As progress continues, players can anticipate the establishment of a DAO (Decentralized Autonomous Organization), a manga, an anime series, and a mobile app for the Shiryo trading card game.
Features in the Game
Players have multiple options for gameplay in Shiryo. They can engage in training matches against a bot of comparable skill level to hone their skills. Alternatively, players can join live lobbies and battle against other players in real-time. For those seeking a competitive experience, there are tournaments and ranked matches available.
To support beginners, Shiryo offers a temporary 50-card deck that can be used for free. This deck, although basic, provides a starting point for new players. However, it remains within the Dapp and is not stored in the player's wallet.
The highlight of the Shiryo ecosystem is undoubtedly the cards. Players can collect various types of cards, including beasts and spells. By using the custom Dapp, players can mint card packs that will transform into NFTs stored in their wallets for gaming purposes. Additionally, players have the option to burn cards, which presents an opportunity to obtain even more powerful cards. Furthermore, players can rent out their card decks to others, and if the rented deck wins, the rewards are split between the owner and the renter.
Beyond the card gameplay, Shiryo offers an expansive Shiryoverse experience. This includes features such as land ownership, card upgrades, captivating lore that can be enjoyed for months, a wide variety of cards to build a strong collection, and even manga for players to enjoy during their downtime.
How To Play Shyrio?
In the game, both you and your opponent start with 40 health points and draw 3 cards each. To determine the first player to place a card, a coin is tossed, with the player going second receiving an extra card. You hold your cards in your hand and choose which ones to play based on your available "energy." It's important to note that you can only see the cards in your own hand, not your opponent's.
Cards can be placed on the game board in any order, with a maximum of 7 cards in play at once. Each card has an attack score and health value, and some cards may possess elemental attributes or special abilities.
At the end of your turn, your cards will attack from left to right, targeting a random enemy card. If there are no enemy cards remaining, the attacks will directly reduce the health points of the opposing hero. The game continues until one player's hero reaches 0 health points, at which point the opposing player is declared the winner.
