What is Crabada?

Crabada stands out as a play-to-earn NFT game centered around crabs on the Avalanche blockchain. In this engaging gameplay, participants build a team comprising three unique crabada to accumulate the in-game currency known as Treasure Under Sea TUS. Functioning as an idle game, players set up their Mining Party, featuring three crabada, to extract treasure. Each mining venture spans four hours and yields returns of 3.75 CRA and 303.75 TUS. Additionally, players have the opportunity to embark on looting missions, aiming to seize control of another player's mining party. Furthermore, idle crabada can be loaned to fellow players and deployed as formidable mercenaries.

What Makes Crabada Stand Out?

Participants have the opportunity to 'rediscover' the once-thriving ancient kingdom of hermit crabs, once governed by Crustaco, the esteemed King of Crabada. In this immersive experience, players can enlist devoted followers, cultivate new warriors for their army, and extract valuable resources from mines. Additionally, they have the option to engage in looting endeavors, targeting either adversaries or fellow miners to rightfully claim a portion of their wealth. The six crab factions, descendants from a bygone era, bring forth powerful warriors, each with unique inherited strengths and abilities, allowing for limitless combinations in battles.

All members of Crabada exist on the blockchain, affording players complete control over their possessions. Every gameplay interaction within the game occurs on-chain, ensuring transparency in the processing of transactions on the blockchain.

The CRA Token

CRA serves as the governing token on Crabada, obtainable through staking and active gameplay during designated incentive periods. Initially acquired through a community bootstrap event or any decentralized exchange (DEX) post-bootstrap, CRA accrual spans a three-month incentive period or until the allocated amount is exhausted. Throughout this duration, users receive augmented CRA rewards along with TUS, the platform's additional in-game currency. Players can accumulate TUS by engaging in various game activities such as looting, mining, or lending crabs through the tavern. The game allows users to assemble both looting and mining parties, each comprising three Crabada, for participation in diverse missions.

Crabada Team Background

Crabada is the brainchild of a team with extensive experience in blockchain applications. The project was co-founded by a group of anonymous developers, some of whom are partially active on social media.

Handling business operations is 0xtender, who brings four years of product management experience in blockchain products. Jay, the project's product designer, comes with a background at Binance. Fuji, responsible for blockchain engineering, has been engaged in the blockchain space since 2016, focusing on smart contract implementation and Ethereum customization. NH oversees backend development, drawing from four years of experience working on crypto projects like Infinity Blockchain Labs. Additionally, there are six other team members contributing to the creative and marketing aspects of Crabada.
